Let’s start here.

I’m a psychotherapist living in Missoula, Montana. I’m licensed in a lot of states: Montana, Washington, Idaho, Utah, and Alaska. These licenses are important to me – they give me freedom to see clients in all of these places. I used to be a college professor. I retired from that profession exactly a year ago because Covid changed everything and I felt a calling to be more of a therapist and less of a college teacher. I find I miss teaching, and I really miss writing. Hence the beginning (renewal) of this website. I’ve been able to experience a lot of different kinds of communication. I’ve been a radio show host, stand-up performer, podcaster, therapist, musician, partner, friend, sister, mom – I still am most of these. But I haven’t had an actual blog. I keep learning things I want to share. So let’s start here and see where it goes.
